Description

Tender Honey Garlic Salmon Bites coated in a sweet and savory garlic glaze with hints of lemon and ginger. This quick 30-minute dinner is perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or serving over rice and vegetables.

Ingredients

lbs (680 g) salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

3 tbsp honey

2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 tsp cornstarch

2 tbsp water

1 tbsp sesame seeds

2 tbsp chopped green onions

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

1. Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels and season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the salmon for 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Transfer to a plate.

3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, cornstarch, and water.

4. Pour the sauce into the same skillet and simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.

5. Return the salmon bites to the skillet and gently toss until evenly coated with the honey garlic glaze.

6. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon.

7. Remove from the heat, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, and serve immediately with lemon wedges, steamed rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before cooking for the best golden crust.

Avoid overcrowding the skillet to ensure even browning.

Use fresh garlic and ginger for maximum flavor.

Cook the salmon just until flaky to keep it juicy.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
