Ingredients
For the Ground Beef
500g ground beef
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Chili Honey Feta Cream
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic
For the Wrap
4 pita breads or flatbreads
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cucumber, diced
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add minced garlic until fragrant.
2. Add ground beef and break it apart as it cooks.
3. Season with paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
4. Cook until browned and slightly crispy for maximum flavor.
5. In a blender or bowl, combine feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, honey, chili flakes, lemon juice, and garlic.
6. Blend until smooth and creamy to create the chili honey feta cream.
7. Warm pita or flatbreads until soft and flexible.
8. Assemble wraps by layering lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and spiced beef.
9. Drizzle generously with chili honey feta cream.
10. Fold, wrap, and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
Don’t rush the beef—letting it brown slightly gives deeper flavor.
Adjust chili flakes depending on your heat preference.
Warm pita before assembling to prevent tearing.
The chili honey feta cream can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
For extra freshness, add a squeeze of lemon just before serving.
